Went to V 2007 yesterday with the misses and Glenn. Forecast or rain all day was not gonna stop me rocking to the foos
Queues for beer tokens (yeah bloody tokens) was 45 mins….. lots of stories of people waiting over 2.5 hours. Hey Branson, how about you let us buy them with the tickets
This is the first time i have been to V since my last two outings to Glastonbury, man it felt small
Ok.. we saw….
Just Jack (short set but good)
Proclaimers (did not intend to see, but was eating lunch near main stage) ![]()
Editors (pretty good)
The fray (could not hear sh*t sound was knackered, much to shells disappointment)
Jet (Glenn said they would be amazing, yer ok mate) ![]()
Pink (actually very good)
Snow Patrol (very good)
and the almighty foos (not a foot wrong, loved it, roll on UK tour end of the year) ![]()

You know how the stupidest most simple games can be the most fun and addictive..

Man its really a year for music this year, i have always been a lover of music (any genre of music) but always went to clubs like Fabric . Last year i experience my first gig (shocking huh) - thanks Glenn!
Well last year Glenn asked if i had heard the new band formed by ex Busted front man.. whatever his name is.. you know the one with the bushy eye brows…. anyway… i said no.. Glenn insisted i buy the album and have a listen.
Not being one to prejudge i did just that, and it’s a great album (highly under-rated)…. yeah yeah i know he used to be in Busted.. man let it go… have a listen
Well i am off to see them play live later this year, i only hope they are as good live as their cd (hope their new stuffs on par too)
The Question is who do i go and see next? ![]()

Finally got tickets to see Seasick Steve live in London!
My brother in law played my his cd a few months back and i quite liked it, not a bad cd.
While i was at Glastonbury i made the effort to get up early and head on over to see Seasick Steve on the Pyramid stage (on my tod, thanks guys)
Amazing, shivers down spine sort of amazing……
So very excited about the gig.
For more about Seasick Steve visit www.seasicksteve.com

I first saw Victoria playing on early morning tv a few months back and was blown away. Quite fluky really as i dont watch much TV in the morning
Victoria debut album came out monday and is very impressive!
A few of the songs you instantly love, others are growers (which is never a bad thing) had the album on repeat for all of Monday and cant pick fault with any of it.
I was also lucky enough to see Victoria play at Glastonbury and i have to say shes as good (if not better live)… well worth a look if you can……
Fancy something new ? click here to buy the album
Roll on album two ![]()
Someone sent me a link to a stand up comedian doing a stint on powerpoint slides (must have been after my rant on presentations)
Its quite a funny (and very true) presentation (see below)

I then found this by the same guy, again very true (both use of internet and male toilet etiquette)

Hero - Who?
Hero-Zero is the name of a new band based around the Milton Keynes / Bedford area. One of the band members is my mate Glenn (plays guitar and does lead vocals). Hero Zero are currently writing and recording new songs ready for gigging in the near future.
The bad line up is :
Fancy being in a band?
Hero Zero are thinking about maybe adding a new member to the band, either keys or guitar, fancy it? If so head over to their MySpace Page.
Wanna Listen??
Although the band is new and still finding their feet they have some music up on their MySpace page which is worth a listen. The music quality is pretty poor because its been recorded live (Lost In Translation was recorded in Glenn’s bedroom and sounds more professional).
I cant wait to hear what it all sounds like once its been recorded in a studio
Cant wait!
I also cant wait to see Hero Zero live and have a good old rock out, keep us posted of any dates Glenn ![]()

I made it back from Glastonbury alive, muddy and sleepy but in one piece
Yes the mud was messy, yes it rained (A LOT) but to be honest who cares? Not anyone there thats for sure!
This was my second Glastonbury and last time i watch just big bands, so this time i watch a few but mainly watched much smaller bands.
I saw :
Bloc Party
Mr Hudson and the Library
The Automatic
Simiam Mobile Disco
Trentmoller (live)
Seasick Steve (AMAZING)
The Long Blondes
Biffy Clyro (ROCKING!!)
The Twang
Nick Warren (djing)
Get Cape, Wear Cape, Fly
Victoria hart
+ time spent in circus tent and watching people in the world field (hippie central)
Got back and bought Twang album, going to order the Seasick Steve + Victoria ones tomorrow.
Spent much more time with other people we camped with and Meet Pissed Matt for the first time - i know sober matt quite well, but pissed matt is a new one to me
For those who want to know what the title means it was a sign up on a hat stall

I think thats about it, i might update it a bit more later when i have time.

Got my replacement Nike+ last week (first one broke)
Seems to be working fine now
You can see how my runs are going by looking on the bottom of the right hand menu, tells you all about my last 5 runs (how exciting huh)
